Morning pages: oh, here’s why to do them

So as an experiment, I deliberately skipped my morning pages today. I had time. I did everything else I do. I just didn’t do them.

Result? All day long, I have had the attention span of a gnat. It’s just like it was before I started the Artist’s Way. It’s not ADD or any kind of bipolar/manic thing. My subconscious is just really that loud when it’s not given my undivided attention for a certain amount of time each day.

  1. I didn’t do them at all today. Yesterday’s ‘morning pages’ mutated into afternoon pages. I find they take so much time and sometimes they seem to be helpful for me and other days it’s just depressing. lol
