Chloe the Sloth in Action

Chloe has sort of been my spirit guide in Finding Water, so I thought you all might enjoy seeing her in action. I just got a Flip Camera so I’m learning to use it – as you can see from the dubious camera work.

I Tried Decoupage!

I worked up my nerve and have started playing around with decoupage. Mostly I’m working on bottles and glass. So far, I’ve learned that fake tattoos will apply to glass, why not to use a glue gun and I am mastering the art of just enough water and preventing (paper) wrinkles.

I’m almost ready for my most daring project: I’m going to decoupage furniture intended for long-term use by adding some Twin Cities themed images to some chairs. I also intend to use an old tarot deck to decoupage an old chair I plan to use as a plant stand.
